When I wrote The Christmas Bargain, I had no idea how people would receive it.
I had no idea what I was doing, really.
It was my first attempt at writing historical fiction. While I do a bit of research for all my books, this one took a lot of work. Since so much of the story takes place in a home, I kept second-guessing if I had all the details correct.
Would people hate the book? Would they read it? Would anyone like it?
I’ve received a few reviews that have absolutely humbled me, made my eyes leak and mascara run, and made me profoundly grateful to those who take a chance and read my little efforts.
Thank you so, so much, for giving me a chance and sharing your thoughts about my book in your reviews. Words don’t even begin to express the gratitude filling my heart.
