Are you ready to meet the characters from A Joyful Home?
I had such a grand time creating Bo Birke and Rafe Judson.
I know I wanted Bo to resemble her great-great-grandfather Gunder Birke.
I found the perfect inspiration in actress Emily Rose. She looks like Gunder, and she also has that quiet, sweet appearance that I envisioned Bo having.
Bo needed a solid, caring, patient man to love her.
I found the inspiration for Rafe Judson in actor Beau Mirchoff. He was just as I envisioned Rafe, and is so perfect for Bo Birke!
While I worked on the Bo and Rafe’s story, this swoony song, The Cozy Song by Dan + Shay, was the one I listened to.
Check out the Pinterest board for more inspiration from the story.
And if you haven’t yet, be sure to get your copy of the book!
