Here’s a fun waffle recipe with a great taste of autumn, infused with apple cider!
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
pinch of salt
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon nutmeg
1 cup apple cider
Preheat waffle iron and spray with nonstick cooking spray.
Lightly beat egg then stir in apple cider. Blend dry ingredients together than add to cider. Mix until well-combined.
Pour into waffle iron and prepare according to waffle iron directions.
Remove from waffle iron when baked throughout and serve warm.
Top with syrup or dust with powdered sugar.
Yield: 4-5 servings
