Bacon Wrapped Chicken Bites

If you are like the occupants of our house and enjoy chicken and bacon, you are going to love this recipe!

It’s delicious, and so, so easy to make. And it’s perfect for summer grilling!

Bacon Wrapped Chicken Bites

1 1/2 pounds chicken (boneless, skinless)
8-10 pieces of bacon
1 1/2 tablespoons spice blend (like Mrs. Dash)
1 teaspoon salt
8-10 skewers

If using wooden skewers, soak them about 20 minutes in a shallow pan of water.

Cut chicken into bite-sized pieces. Pour spices (blend of whatever spices you like) and salt into a resealable plastic bag then add chicken and shake to coat.

Starting with a piece of bacon, run a skewer through the end, then alternate a piece or two of chicken with bacon.

Heat an outdoor grill, place skewers on grill and cook on medium heat for about five minutes, then turn. Continuing rotating skewers until chicken and bacon are cooked, about 15-20 minutes.

Serve with barbecue sauce or Ranch dressing.

Yield: 8-10 skewers
