Banana Blondies with Cream Cheese Frosting

If you are a fan of blondies, and enjoy banana flavors (topped with cream cheese frosting!), then give these yummy bars a whirl! They are amazingly moist and delicious!

 

Banana Blondies with Cream Cheese Frosting

INGREDIENTS

Blondies

1/2 cup salted butter, melted

1 cup light brown sugar, packed

1 egg

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 teaspoon banana flavoring

1 cup flour

1/2 cup mashed banana (about 1 medium banana)

Cream Cheese Frosting

4 cups powdered sugar

8 ounces cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup butter, softened

1 teaspoon vanilla

DIRECTIONS

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line an 8×8 baking dish with foil and parchment and spray with non-stick spray. Set aside.

In a mixing bowl, combine butter and sugar until combined. Add egg, vanilla, and banana flavoring, continue mixing until incorporated, then add flour and banana. Stir until batter is smooth.

Spread in prepared pan. Bake for 25-30 minutes, until center is set.

Remove from oven and cool.

Once the  brownies are cool, combine powdered sugar, cream cheese,  butter and vanilla. Mix on medium speed until well blended. Frost and enjoy!

Refrigerate any leftovers.

Yield: 16 blondies
