My very first official book signing is scheduled!
I’m pretty excited about it. And a little intimated. And only marginally terrified.
It’s at a local bookstore with the wonderfully nice people who work there. I know they’ll take good care of me.
In preparation of the event, I’ve given up on getting plastic surgery, liposuction or a glorious sun-drenched tan since I’ve only got a few weeks until the event. It looks like instead I’ll be thinking up some clever one-liners, plotting out my tablescape approximately 89 times and doing things like ordering more bookmarks, creating book plates and finding a pen I really like to practice signing my name.
Any of you seasoned veterans out there who want to share your best book-signing tips… I’d love to hear them!
