Thirteen years ago this month, I sat down at my computer, determined to try my hand at writing a book.
Captain Cavedweller had issued a challenge for me to try, and I accepted.
Clueless as to what I was doing, I began typing and the story poured out of me over the course of three weeks.
That very first book became Heart of Clay.
To celebrate my writing anniversary, I’m giving away a mystery box full of fun goodies. For a chance to win, just hop over to the form and fill out the info!
Thank you, dear readers and friends, for coming along on this amazing journey with me. I’m so grateful for you – and so incredibly blessed to get to do something I love every single day.
Here’s to many more books!

Your writing brings such joy. You create such wonderful, believable characters. I feel like I know them and get drawn into the story. Your rodeo romance series drew me in and made me a big rodeo fan, especially the PBR. Going to rodeos has become something my husband and I love to do, and it has been his Christmas gift to me several times. Don’t stop writing such wonderful stories.
I love that you and your husband are now rodeo fans. That is just the coolest – and how neat that has been his gift to you! I won’t stop writing as long as my sweet readers keep reading. Thank you so much for your readership and friendship, Elaine! I appreciate you!
And WE are so thankful for YOU!! Please thank CC on behalf of all of your readers. Happy #13!
Oh, thank you so, so much, Cindy! You are awesome and so appreciated! <3
So glad you accepted CC’s challenge. My daughters and I have had lots of enjoyment, and lots of laughs, reading your books.
Aw, thank you so much, Alice! I’m so grateful for you!
