Don’t Devalue Your Happiness

Some of us have a terrible habit of devaluing our happiness. We brush it aside, deem it of less importance than other things in our lives, and even ignore it.

Stop it!

When you spend time each day focusing on being happy, on embracing those things that bring you joy, you’ll find it spills over into all areas of your life and onto others.

Even if you spend five minutes each day doing something that makes you deliriously happy – do it! It’s better than not spending any time at all on those things that make your heart sing.

Happiness is a priceless, precious thing that we all to often throw in the bargain bin because we’ve got too much to do, too many responsibilities, too many other things that need our attention.

When we devalue our happiness, we lose an important part of ourselves.

Don’t lose your joy. Cling to it tenaciously. Make it a priority every single day. Even if it is only for a few minutes.

You’ll notice the difference and so will those around you.
