Don’t sit in the third row

third row

I saw this on Pinterest the other day and it really got my attention.

Not because the two ladies in the front row are having the time of their lives, holding onto their skirts. It’s because of the lemon-faced duo in the third row.

They aren’t having fun. At least not in a way anyone could see. They look like they’d rather be anywhere but there.

I’ve spent too much of my life sitting in that third row seat. The seat where you feel you have to behave a certain way, think a certain way, do certain things.

That third row seat – not so much fun.

But the front row seat – that’s where the action’s at. That’s where the excitement is at it’s prime. That’s where you can experience life to the fullest.

And why wouldn’t you want to?

Life is so, so short and way too precious to spend our days sitting in the third row.

Even if it is just for today I hope you will:

• Sit in the front row

• Let go of your fears and judgements

• Live in the moment

• Embrace opportunities as they arise

• Laugh with abandon

• Smile broadly

• Do something so fun and exciting it makes your skirt fly up
