I thought you all might enjoy meeting the characters from Easter Bride today!
Colton Ford resembles his brother, Carson. We first meet Carson in Valentine Bride.
Dylan Bruno was my inspiration for his character.
So when I was thinking about who would be good for Colt, I knew that choice needed to look a little bit like Carson.
I ended up choosing Justin Bruening for Colton Ford. I could see him and Dylan Bruno playing brothers if the Holiday Brides series was ever turned into a movie!
It’s no wonder Piper feel head over heels in love with him!
And this is my perfect Piper Peterson! Look at those eyes – those freckles – that beautiful hair! She’s just perfect!
I have no idea who she is… I found her image on a stock photo website. However, the moment I saw her I knew she was a great fit for Piper!
There are a few other characters you might like to see, too.
Jessica Heap is my choice for Fynlee Dale.
Her wacky grams, Miss Matilda “Tillie” Dale – is based on a real life icon with an abundance of pizzazz.
Iris Apfel makes a perfect Grams. Iris is an American businesswoman, interior designer, and fashion icon who is in her 90s. Isn’t she fun!
And of course we need Matilda’s sidekick, Ruth.
Betty White is the my vision of Aunt Ruth, and such a great balance to Matilda’s character.
And we can’t forget handsome Rand – here he is. Actor Richard Harrison fits his character so well.
