I read my first Patricia Briggs book a year or so ago and quickly became hooked. Especially on her Mercy Thompson series.
Her latest tale in Mercy’s adventures is Frost Burned.
Fast paced and full of great action, this installment in the series does not disappoint.
Yes, I realize for someone who likes reading historical inspirational fiction and spends a lot of time in the sparkly pink world in her head, vampires, werewolfs, and other things that go bump in the night is strange reading, indeed.
Briggs is such a talented writer, you kind of forget about the scary monsters part of the stories and focus more in the characters and the things that make them so fascinating.
