One of the hymns we sing at church is He Hath Blessed Us. The end of each line is “He Hath Blessed us Hitherto” and the final one is “He Hath Helped Us Hitherto.”
I love that word hitherto — until now, even yet, to this moment.
It’s a wonderful thing to think about being blessed from the beginning of our existence to this very moment. Blessed and loved and carried by grace.
