This week’s gratitude challenge is to write about a friend.
Rather than choose one, I thought I’d share about some very special friends I’ve never met in person.
These lovely, lovely women have become so dear to my heart through our online friendship.
Anyone who spends any time in social media has no doubt made a few wonderful friends they never, ever expected to “meet.” I know I have.
And I am so, so grateful for each one of them.
The graphic above might be silly, but it’s true! I know I can reach out to my friends to share moments of joy, or, should I need it, receive some encouragement. They celebrate my successes, cheer me on, and make my heart all mushy with some frequency.
Even though we’ve never gone out for coffee, shared a meal together – or even a hug, I’m thankful beyond words for my online friends. You know who you are and I hope you know how much you are appreciated and loved!
You absolutely make each day special and my heart smile.
For that I am so grateful to each one of you.
