This week is the famous Pendleton Round-Up in historic Pendleton, Oregon.
The event draws thousands of visitors to the town for a myriad of events including parades, performances and, of course, the rodeo – ranked as one of the top rodeos in North America.
Hamley & Co., like the Round-Up, is well known in the region with its selection of fine western and leather goods. The store opened in 1905 and in 1910, J.J. Hamley was instrumental in helping organize the first Pendleton Round-Up and served as a director for many years. Over the years Hamley and Co. has provided more than eighty trophy saddles.
So it is an honor and a pleasure for me to be able to join in all the history, fun and celebration Saturday at Hamley & Co. for a book signing. I’ll be there from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. so if, by chance, you happen to be in Pendleton for the day, stop by and say hello!
Let ‘er Buck!
