This week’s happiness challenge is to list the things in life you are actually able to control.
This is going to be a relatively short list. I’ve learned the only things in life I can control are my thoughts and actions. Everything else… not mine to control.
Sometimes I forget that I don’t have control over other things and that ends with a lot of frustration and worry. But when I eventually get back on track and remember what I can control – my thoughts and actions – then things smooth out.
I think we so often focus on things over which we have no control, we lose sight of the things we can change or alter, simply be shifting our perspective, guiding our thoughts, and letting go.
