I must be on some sort of music star falls in love with home-town girl kick since my review last week was about a country star falling in love.
This week, I truly enjoyed Her Minnesota Man by Brenda Coulter. It’s the story of a rock star who finds God, returns to his hometown, and realizes he can no longer deny the feelings he has for the girl next door.
Although this is Coulter’s first attempt at self-publishing, this book is a fun, solid read, especially if you enjoy contemporary Christian romance.
I loved the two main characters, Jeb and Laney, and her trio of crazy aunts added just the right element of light-hearted humor to the story.
Well-written and engaging, I would definitely read more of Coulter’s work.
