I think most writers probably have a pretty active imagination.
It is a necessity when you are exploring ideas, tossing around “what ifs” to be able to imagine… outcomes, emotions, reactions, feelings, phrases.
I keep this sign above my desk at work. Not because I’m writing there, but as a reminder to never stop imagining the possibilities.
