Last Friday when we were in Pendleton, we took in the Westward Ho Parade. It was a lot of fun with a variety of great entries, especially since no motorized entries are allowed.
One of the entries I liked the best was the one shown above… 102 flags, to represent each year of the Round-Up.
It was patriotic and quite awe-inspiring.
And my mind has been whirring with ideas of how to write this into a book at some point.
When you are out and about, just living your every day life, grab onto those moments that make you smile, make you think, make you stop and think “Wow!”
Take notes, jot it down and draw on that information when you need a little inspiration.
