Joules Rain Boots

A while back when Captain Cavedweller and I were on the Oregon coast, the weather was lovely for the most part.

One day, the day we’d planned to do quite a bit of walking around town, we awoke to a downpour. Within a block of walking, my sneakers were soaked, so we ducked into a store. While I was admiring some cute T-shirts just the right size for my little nephews, CC made a beeline for the shoe display (he gets way more worried about me having wet feet than I do!).

The next thing I know, he’d pulled out  shoe boxes from a shelf and telling me to try on rain boots.

At first, I was reluctant. It’s not like I’ll wear them often, but then he opened the lid on a box and I immediately tried them on.

It was like they were calling (okay, shouting – loudly) my name, saying “buy me, buy me!”

These Joules rain boots are so comfortable. They aren’t heavy, have a nice cushioned footbed, and kept my feet dry.

The thing I love most about them is how pretty they are! CC paid for the boots and I wore them out of the store. I got compliments on them everywhere I went that day.

And yes, CC is awesome. Just one of the gazillion reasons I love that guy.
