The other day, this ad drew my attention as I flipped through a magazine.
Visions of our grumpy, persnickety cat in such a costume danced through my head, making me laugh aloud.
Captain Cavedweller gave me an odd look (I get a lot of those), but when I showed him the ad, he laughed, too.
I think it was the idea of trying to get our cat into such a costume, more than the costume itself, that made us laugh so hard. No doubt, the costume would be in shreds and we’d both look like we “wrastled a bobcat,” as my grandpa used to say.
Finally subduing our mirth, we happened to catch a commercial with the same cat.
