Sometimes, trying to find a bit of happiness in a chaotic, busy day is very challenging.
People demand your attention, you’ve got work to do, bills to pay, errands to run, dinner to plan and it’s hard to turn your thoughts to focusing – even for just a few moments – on those things that make you truly happy.
In the midst of all the turmoil, take a deep breath. Then another.
Now, lift up your fingers, just like in the photo above, and make a frame. Close one eye and look through it, moving around until something that makes you ridiculously happy comes into focus. Maybe it’s a photo of a loved one. Maybe it’s that piece of really good chocolate you’ve been saving. Maybe it’s a thank you card from a grateful client.
Whatever it is, spend a few minutes focusing on it. Feel the smile lifting the corners of your lips? Hear the quiet descending in peaceful calm through the clatter of busyness?
Go ahead, relax and enjoy. Take those few minutes to rekindle your happiness and recharge your batteries before you get on with the rest of your day.
You’ll feel refreshed and recharged to handle the rest.
