Take Control of Your Thoughts and Your Happiness


Whether we like it or not, admit it or not – the thoughts we allow into our heads have a great influence over us.

If we turn our thoughts to the negative and constantly focus on what could go wrong, we live in a way that says we’re just waiting for the next disaster.

I like to think that what we feed our minds is quite similar to what we feed our bodies. If we maintain a steady diet of garbage (fast food,  junk food, overly processed food with no nutrient value) it will wreak havoc on our health.

Where we allow our thoughts to dwell – be it garbage, fear, negativity or joy – will reflect in how we live.

The direction of our thoughts can be influenced by so many things including the books we read, the music we listen to, the shows we watch, the people we associate with on a daily basis. What direction do you find your thoughts drifting?

If they’re headed somewhere you don’t want to go, start changing all the things that influence your thoughts and you’ll change your life.

I don’t know about you, but I’d much rather live happy and feed off a rich, healthy diet of positive thoughts, joyful ideas, and content feelings.
