Last summer when Blake Shelton’s Honey Bee came out I knew it had to be included in some way at some point in one of my books.
When I began writing The Cowboy’s Summer Love, the song kept popping into my head. I finally gave up, called a surrender and ran with it.
It is the perfect, perfect song for Travis and Tess, especially when he whispered in my ear that he was going to start calling Tess honeybee.
