The Happiness of Music

notes_background 2If you need to get your happy on, one tool that can help is music that uplifts you or makes you smile.

We all have songs that make our feet want to dance and our hearts want to sing.

It can be not only therapeutic, but oddly freeing to blast out your favorite song and sing along.

Go ahead and “bust a move” or two.

By the time the song finishes, I bet you’ll be smiling and have a much lighter heart.

I’ve always loved music and listen to a range of different artists. Even with that said, I sometimes forget how much pleasure I derive from it.

There are certain songs that just put the biggest smile on my face and make me feel happy.

I need to listen to more of those.

And so do you… find those “happy” songs and listen to them. Then listen to them again.

Right now. Go on.

See, you’re smiling, aren’t you.

This one isn’t a hip new song, but it is one that always, always make me happy when I hear it. I think it’s the lyrics as much as the song (although seeing his dimples doesn’t hurt if I watch the video…)

Enjoy!
