I’ve read this quote before, but the other day it seemed to whisper to my heart and seep into my soul.
It is so true – when we put the happiness of the person (or people) we love most before our own, we find our happiness increases.
There is an indescribable joy in bringing happiness to another.
Think of times you’ve done something as a surprise for someone or just did a little something extra took something off someone else’s plate. I bet they smiled. Thanked you. They may have even beamed with excitement. And it made you happy to see them happy.
If you don’t know where to start, one of the easiest places is with a smile. It costs nothing, yet a genuine smile from the heart is absolutely priceless.
Share a little of your happiness with others today. Make someone smile or laugh and see if it doesn’t make your Monday a little better, too.
