The Princess is story that takes you to a world of castles, royalty and love.
I’ve read the story more times than I can count, but I love it every time I do.
Set in the Land of Pendaran, Shelby Parker is a nurse living a good life, beloved daughter of her parents and well-liked among her peers. She is sweet and unassuming and eventually she catches the attention of the king and queen of the House of Markham. Their son, Prince Nikolai, is a widower in need of a wife. Nikolai, however is still grieving his first wife and not interested in taking on another. He will do his duty to the crown and marry again, but he tries to keep his heart from becoming entangled with the beautiful Shelby.
The arranged marriage is challenging for them both. Nikolai is a gentleman, but remains distant from Shelby, leaving her to wonder if she’ll ever have his love.
This is a sweet contemporary story with a good dose of Christian romance.
