I’ve been playing the “What if…” game lately. A lot.
Mostly in my head although Captain Cavedweller gets hit with random questions from time to time.
Do you ever sit and ask “what if…” questions to help spur your creativity or move you forward in your writing?
I seem to do this quite a lot when I’m working on the basics for a storyline.
Here is how that seems to go: What if He does this and She says that, how would that play out? What if He were to…
You get the idea.
If you find yourself stuck or facing down a big case of writer’s block, try playing with some “what ifs” and “how woulds” and see if that helps spark a little creativity!
