Writer Problems

A few weeks ago, I was working on a particularly hard chapter in a work in progress.

It wasn’t hard in the fact I was struggling to put words on the page. The challenge was in the fact my emotions were a wreck. The scene just plucked at my heartstrings until I was in tears.

Do you know how hard it is to type when tears are blurring the keyboard?

Later, in that same book, I started giggling at a scene. And giggling. And then I was laughing so much that I was crying.

Seriously, it’s impossible to work when tears are blinding you.

Should I get so emotionally invested in the stories I write?  Some might say it’s silly, stupid, or a bad idea.

Personally, I think it’s great. The more emotionally invested I am in it, the more I hope it resonates with you all, dear readers.

Stay tuned… I’ll have more news soon about an upcoming release!
